There are three main types of serrated colorectal polyps: hyperplastic polyps, sessile serrated lesions, and traditional serrated adenomas. I think most of us know quite a lot about hyperplastic polyps and sessile serrated lesions, but because traditional serrated adenomas are uncommon, their nature and significance are not well known.
