In this chapter we explore Object-Based Learning (OBL) through a postdigital lens, highlighting its potential in preparing students for complex and uncertain business futures. OBL is a pedagogical approach that encourages students to explore problems, concepts, events, and ideas of the past, present, and future by engaging with objects. We explore how students engage in material-discursive practices while intra-acting with museum objects that have historic and cultural significance. In this we draw on the work of prominent feminist scholars Donna Haraway and Karen Barad. We conceptualise museum objects as Latour’s ‘matters of concern’ and turn to Maria Puig de la Bellacasa who extends the notion to ‘matters of care’. We illustrate how diffractive learning approaches though OBL have the potential to help students notice the underlying causes of issues, the social, political, and economic factors, turning facts into matters of concern, and to matters of care to act upon. Taking a postdigital lens allowed us to explore the material-discursive practices of OBL in how students intra-act with museum objects to develop a deeper understanding of the inseparability of their actions and the ensuing consequences in the world.
