Enhancing Cognition of Students with Visual Impairments via Human Computer Interaction Blueprint for SDG 4: A Systematic Review
摘要
This research aims to augment the educational experiences of students with visual impairments (SWVI) by exploring the role of assistive technologies, particularly Job Access with Speech (JAWS), in South African Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges. The methodology involved a systematic literature review of key studies on assistive technology and inclusivity, providing a blueprint for improving inclusive education to meet sustainable development goal (SDG) 4. While the findings highlight the importance of meeting the needs of marginalised groups for a more equitable and sustainable future, the recommendations include prioritising inclusive education policies, investing in training, support services, and ensuring equal access to quality higher education for visually impaired students to foster sustainable development and achieve SDG 4.
