The efficient deployment of sensors in industrial environments is crucial for monitoring and controlling various processes, ensuring safety, and optimizing resource utilization. In this article, we explore the application of the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to solve the complex problem of sensor placement in industrial spaces. The PSO algorithm, inspired by social behavior patterns, has proven to be a powerful tool in solving optimization problems. We investigate its effectiveness in optimizing sensor locations to maximize coverage and minimize redundancy in industrial settings.
