Today, due to technological advancements and changes in the level of living, people’s needs have changed in all areas. Structural engineers are equipped to develop and integrate their designs with those of other professionals, ensuring cohesive and functional outcomes. It aims to provide opportunities for the rapid and organized growth of innovation in this field by analyzing the gap between the current and desired levels. The circular economy system has been proposed as an alternative for linear economy; this circular system can reduce the economic, environmental, and social burden of the projects. This reduction is achieved several times with the triple principles of reduction, reuse, and recycle, which the road and construction industry, as one of the largest industries in the world, can accept these principles. The road and construction industry, by consuming about 30% of the total primary resources and producing more than 25% of the total solid residual in the world, plays a prominent role in creating all kinds of effects and burdens, and applying the circular economic principles in this industry can reduce these burdens and increase the productivity.
