In recent years, I’ve participated in various forums—multilateral, national, and local—where I’ve observed well-meaning groups tackling issues like the climate crisis, the need for an energy transition, migration or the fragmentation of the multilateral system. Yet, despite shared goals and similar data, these conversations often end in misunderstanding, paralysis, mistrust, and even polarization. We might all see the same scientific reports and economic analyses, but that rarely means we converge in our actions.
