The problems of economic growth are very important to the development of society. The problems of accelerating economic growth are particularly important for the young and sovereign Uzbekistan. This research presents the calculation of the payback period for additional insulation of external walls of civil buildings, considering the growth of tariffs for thermal energy. The authors calculated the return on investment for thermal renovation of buildings considering the increase in the price of energy carriers from 15 to 25%. Given the state of the national economy and its unique characteristics following Uzbekistan’s independence, the gradual transition to a market economy has proven appropriate and effective. This approach has improved key macroeconomic indicators, including gross domestic product, national income, and real income levels. Additionally, addressing the aging of residential buildings is essential to enhance their durability and reduce energy consumption through renovation and energy-saving measures. This strategy also involves protecting building exteriors from corrosion and environmental wear.
