This study investigates the efficacy of various cleaning methods on the performance of mono-Si solar modules under the harsh conditions of the Ghardaïa Desert in Algeria. By employing four identical modules equipped with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology, we conducted a comparative analysis of manual and ionic solution-based cleaning techniques. Our findings reveal a substantial 4% improvement in cleaning efficiency using the ionic solution over a 13-day period. This enhancement is attributed to the effective removal of dust and contaminants, which significantly impacts the solar module’s performance. This study underscores the importance of optimizing cleaning frequency and methods to maximize energy yield, reduce maintenance costs, and contribute to the sustainable operation of solar power systems in arid regions.

摘要
