Purpose: The present study evaluates the effects of mindfulness and meditation practices on five facets of mindfulness among corporate employees. It analyzes how these practices enhance focus, emotional regulation, and well-being in the high-pressure environment of a corporate setting while working to overcome challenges related to physical and emotional health. Moreover, an attempt was made to study the mindfulness and meditation effects on patients using homeopathic healing. Study design/methodology/approach: Mixed-methods approach was adopted. The quantitative and qualitative analysis was done. Pre- and post-intervention levels of mindfulness among 200 corporate employees were measured using the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire. The z-test for two sample means was used for statistical analysis, and Cronbach’s alpha was used to test the reliability. To study the mindfulness and meditation effects on patients using homeopathic healing, word clouds and treemaps were used to gain qualitative insights in terms of identifying recurring themes. Findings: The results indicate a significant improvement in mindfulness levels, with the post-test mean showing 28.487 compared to the pre-test mean of 26.461. The z-test confirmed the findings (p-value = 0.00036), supporting the hypothesis that mindfulness and meditation enhance mindfulness facets. Qualitative analysis highlighted emotional benefits such as reduced anxiety, improved focus, and greater calmness, alongside practical routines like mindful eating and visualization. Originality/value: This paper adds to the growing body of evidence that supports mindfulness and meditation in corporate and individual wellness programs, focusing on their transformative role in boosting emotional resilience and overall well-being. Research limitations/implications: The study is confined to a single corporate setting and short-term intervention. It also is limited to sampled homeopathic healing therapy patients. Future research may explore long-term effects and diverse organizational contexts. Practical implications: It is practical and applies in that organizations can add mindfulness to the wellness program to increase productivity and work health. Social implications: Mindfulness may enhance the resilience of healthier and more liveable communities to stress and healthier lifestyle.
