The main point about the Full Farrell-Jones Conjecture 13.30 is that it implies a great variety of other prominent conjectures such as the ones due to Bass, Borel, Kaplansky, and Novikov, and leads to very deep and interesting results about manifolds and groups, as we will record and explain in Section 13.12. Often these applications are much more appealing and easier to comprehend than the rather technical Full Farrell-Jones Conjecture 13.30.
