This chapter reviews the growing body of evidence linking information and communication technology (ICT) use with healthy aging outcomes in older adults. The review highlights that every day and intervention-based ICT use can enhance cognitive function, promote physical activity, reduce loneliness, and improve subjective well-being, though benefits vary depending on usage patterns, individual capabilities, and contextual factors. It also traces the evolution of research focus and methodology in this field, noting a shift toward real-world applicability, diverse populations, and more sophisticated study designs. Despite significant advances, challenges remain, including insufficient attention on digital exclusion, underrepresentation of the oldest-old, and limited long-term evidence. The chapter concludes with future directions for advancing theory, implementation, and equity in technology-based approaches to healthy aging, emphasizing the need for inclusive, adaptive, and integrated digital solutions to enhance well-being in later life.
