The accelerating pace of digital transformation, fueled by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, has coincided with a dramatic global demographic shift: the rapid aging of populations across high-, middle-, and low-income countries. In this context, the intersection between information and communication technologies (ICTs) and aging is not simply a matter of obtaining access and gaining convenience, adoption of ICTs has become a critical determinant of health, equity, and social participation. This book, ICT Use and Healthy Longevity: Empirical Data and Perspectives, has brought together an international group of scholars to examine how older adults engage with digital technologies and how such engagement influences their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being. By drawing on evidence from diverse national and cultural contexts, the chapters offer an integrated understanding of both the transformative potential of ICTs for older populations and the persistent inequalities that must be addressed to achieve digital inclusion.

摘要
