Art has many facets and can even appear contradictory. At the same time, how art is perceived needs to be explored more fundamentally. Yet, we tend to perceive art as primarily outcome-based. Art has much more potential in a more phenomenon-based perspective where not the outcome but the complex process is in focus. Art is not only a painting or a dance performance in a theater. It is also the complex compromise between self and environment while creating a new way of trajecting into the perceived reality. Art begins far before the first moves are set on the tribune or the first stroke has been painted on the canvas. Furthermore, our daily life, the symbolism we experience through our environment, and the way we perceive ourselves are impacted by the notions of art. Art is still a mystery for the social sciences that need to be unwrapped. Therefore, the exploration of the experience of performing, cultivating art needs to be prioritized before any generalization. The schematized cannot leave the pleromatic sense. So, art needs to return more thoughtfully to the procedures of research for a more profound understanding of what we are actually observing. Resulting in the need to learn to understand what it means to perform art.
