Decoding the Potentiality of Wearable Devices in Healthcare: A Mixed Methodology Approach

Across the globe, the habitude for wearable devices (WD) has come in handy for the routine checking and monitoring of health-related matters in recent times. However, challenges like adaptation, implementation, and others have caused hindrances in the optimum utilization of the product. This research has tried to open up various windows for the usage of WD in the healthcare domain and the challenges followed by the adaptation of the technology. It is a study focusing on customer survey-based insights on comfort, feedback, and the analysis of WD in healthcare along with the use of data analysis to understand the adaptation of it. It studies the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), thus, bringing up its relevance on its perceived usefulness and its ease of use. The results of the customer survey-based insights on the adoption of WD. It also brings into focus, factors like the level of comfort associated with the use of WD and factors affect the adaptation of it. This study has tried to bring up the challenges in the adaptation of WD in healthcare, its potential in marketing research, and implementation and factors that would be of sheer help in bringing out the optimum utilization of WD.
