Financial management for agricultural producers is a crucial component of the sector’s economic growth. Likewise, information technologies act as a significant driver for the agricultural sector. Based on these two premises, the research question arises: how can the financial management of agricultural producers be improved by developing a technological tool? To answer this question, the Agro Platform, an innovative tool for the financial management and evaluation of agricultural businesses, was developed in collaboration with the leading company in agricultural financial solutions, SFA Cebar. In the development of the Platform, primary and public data sources were used, following the SCRUM methodology. The primary outcome was the development of the Agro Platform, achieving a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 7. The main conclusion is that the implementation of this Platform will significantly contribute to the financial management and evaluation of agricultural businesses.
