Despite advancements in treatment, many women continue to experience inadequate relief and debilitating symptoms. Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), an evidence-based treatment approach based on pain neuroscience, has demonstrated efficacy in addressing chronic pain syndromes and may be particularly useful for treating migraine headaches in women. This chapter explores the potential of PRT in addressing migraine headaches in women, drawing upon promising outcomes observed in clinical practice. By synthesizing existing data, presenting a detailed case study, and providing practical guidance for clinicians, this chapter sheds light on the potential of PRT as a valuable intervention for achieving symptom eradication and promoting recovery in women experiencing migraine.
