This chapter outlines the various available ancillary tests available to the onco-neurogastroenterologist to evaluate symptoms suggestive of sensory-motor gastrointestinal disorder, such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and malabsorption. Some of these tests are not readily available in the community setting and referrals to outside laboratories may be needed. In general, these tests have been validated in cancer patients.
