The personal interest and commitment of individuals is the real driving force behind progress towards a more sustainable world. To measure this progress, the concept of sustainability attitudes is introduced, demonstrating five key attitudes: (1) pure egoism, (2) authoritative morality, (3) smartness morality, (4) value-driven morality, and (5) conceptual intuition morality. Examples are provided to illustrate how these attitudes translate into practical actions for businesses, governments, and NGOs. Methods for individuals to test their personal attitudes are also explored. The Earth is presented as comprising seven elementary spheres, ranging from the solid and liquid to the gaseous, warmth, electric, magnetic, and radioactive spheres. The higher the elementary sphere, the greater its influence on the lower spheres and the more significant the moral challenges humankind faces when influencing it. Earth mirrors the moral challenges we must confront, highlighting that finding sustainable development solutions for the fourth elementary state of existence—climate change—is merely the beginning of what lies ahead.
