摘要

This article proposes to build a coevolution dynamism between Japan, India and the Global South by fusing Japan’s manufacturing technology with India's DX (socio-economic transformation through digital technology) capabilities to (i) support the decarbonization of India, the world's third largest CO2 emitter, (ii) accelerate Japan's DX improvement and decarbonization, and (iii) promote the global standardization of India’s traditional innovation systemSystems, “Jugaad,” and transfer it to the Global South. Focusing on the rapid growth trend of generative AI (artificial intelligence) and the highly compatible nature between Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) AI/ML (machine learning)Learning-based self-propagating high functionalityFunctionals that incorporates user learningLearning and generative AI (GAI)-driven innovation, this article pursues the possibility of building a sustainable co-evolution relationship among Japan, India and the Global South through GAI-driven innovation by using AWS's co-evolutionary dynamism as a role modelModel. Suggestions from pioneering successful cases of Japan-India collaboration are extracted thereon, and the direction of the renovation of Japan's manufacturing technology corresponding to the historical demand is suggested.
