With the development of digital information technology, financial industry also derives new business forms and service modes, and the requirements for talents in the field of finance have also undergone significant changes, and the demand for composite talents with financial professional knowledge and digital information technology ability is increasing day by day, which poses a serious challenge to the training mode of talents specialized in finance in colleges and universities. Combined with the background of digital information technology, this paper explores the multidisciplinary cross-fertilization financial talent cultivation mode from the six aspects of talent cultivation concept, curriculum system, faculty, teaching methodology, industry-teaching collaborative cultivation, and teaching assessment and evaluation, so as to promote the quality of talent cultivation of financial specialties.
