Research on the Reform of Teaching in the Course of Civil Engineering Construction Technology Based on the Internet of Things Technology
摘要
With the widespread application of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the engineering field, there is an urgent need for the transformation and upgrading of civil engineering construction technology courses in universities to enhance students’ practical abilities and comprehensive qualities. This study proposes a multidimensional teaching reform plan based on IoT technology, which utilizes sensor networks to acquire data from construction sites and integrates models such as time series analysis and support vector machines to monitor construction status in real-time, optimize construction quality, and improve resource scheduling. Experimental results show that the average score of the theoretical examination for students in the experimental group was 83.0, an increase of 13.2% compared to the control group; the practical operation score reached 88.7, which was 17.6% higher than that of the control group. The classroom participation and satisfaction scores for the experimental group were 3.9 and 8.4, respectively, demonstrating significant advantages compared to the control group’s scores of 3.1 and 7.3. In summary, the introduction of IoT technology has significantly improved the teaching effectiveness and practical efficiency of civil engineering courses, providing strong support for cultivating students’ engineering literacy and innovation capabilities.
