In this chapter, the Upanishadic and Bionian perspectives of ontological Truth are contrasted with contemporary neuroscientific theories of selfhood. Perspectives on the relationship between mind and brain are accounted for by referencing Spinoza’s dual aspect monism, whilst neuroscientific corollaries of Self and selfs are also introduced.
