This research has examined the climate change governance practices of GOs and NGOs in Bangladesh. This research empirically assessed community perceptions of climate change governance practices in Hatiya Upazila, as the selected study area. This area has experienced a number of climate change-induced disasters in recent years. This research also examined the performances of GO and NGOs in climate governance practices. Questions were developed and examined to evaluate the nature and extent of existing climate change governance practices, the roles of different stakeholders in climate governance, the existing challenges in climate governance, and recommendations to overcome these challenges and make current climate change governance more effective.
