Climate Change Governance Practices of Non-governmental Organisations in Bangladesh
摘要
This chapter illustrates the climate change governance approaches employed by NGOs in Bangladesh. This chapter employed a systematic interview schedule to elicit precise responses to the subsequent study questions. This chapter initially examines the functions of NGOs in activities related to climate change. It subsequently delineates the climate change governance practices of NGOs, encompassing their institutional frameworks, accountability measures, transparency, stakeholder engagement, operational efficacy, resource reliance, and funding mobilization tactics. It subsequently evaluates the achievements and obstacles faced by NGOs in the management of climate change-related initiatives.
