Generative AI in Reshaping Higher Education: Human Sciences Master Students at FLDM-USMBA as a Case Study
摘要
The advent of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed various sectors, including higher education. As graduate programs increasingly integrate these tools within their curricula, the importance of understanding their impact on student engagement is crucial. This paper explores how generative AI reshapes engagement among Human Sciences master students. The case study involves 87 students, ESL and enrolled in the Faculty of Letters and Human Science-Dhar El Mahraz, at the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah of Fes, Morocco. The findings revealed that AI tools (the case of ChatGPT) not only enhances academic performance, but it also fosters a greater engagement and a concrete motivation among graduates. However, while the benefits are substantial, discussing ethical use and potential challenges is essential for maximizing positive impact of AI in Higher education settings.
