Immersive Paths to Narrate Cultural Heritage Between Scientific Research and Emotion. The Cases of “Digital Story” in the Royal Palace of Caserta and others (GIAS Company Museum, Consentia Itinera Multimedia Museum etc)
摘要
Set up on the occasion of the celebrations for the 250 years since the death of the great Master, the Vanvitellian Rooms offer a synthetic but reasoned rereading of the ancient sources, of the artistic literature coeval with the Master and of the specialized studies that have flourished over time on his personality and legacy, restoring the knowledge to the public with various digital solutions and stimulating new inputs for direct visits to Vanvitelli’s places in Italy. The integration between the material goods on display such as, for example, the wooden models of Antonio Rosz, the portraits of the Master, the drawings of the Declaration with the technologies used to strengthen their narrative power, as well as the union between scientific research and Digital innovation constitutes, today, the challenge for cultural institutions to bring different audiences closer to cultural heritage and the new layout of the four Vanvitellian rooms in the Royal Apartments represents a very significant case of this. The narrator of this engaging story will be the protagonist himself of the grandiose construction, namely the famous architect Luigi Vanvitelli who will interweave the facts of the story to activate in the viewer a meaningful connection with the object of the narrative: the Royal Palace of Caserta. The text also explains as other cases of digital exhibition in different territorial context and about monument and histories less known, allow visitors to improve knowledge about the cultural heritage, involves him in the history and its main phenomena and strengthens sense of belonging and care.
