Counterfeit goods are a pain point for both the producers and consumers alike, with enormous threats. To prevent this movement and to locate and trace counterfeit goods, our approach utilizes Geographical Indication (GI) tags along with blockchain technology. It permits a fully decentralized, transparent, and secure procedure of overseeing goods from source to end-users. GI tags would be combined with blockchain, serving as unchangeable ledger for the storage system while verifying goods based on geographical location. It is the technology that works to build trust and transparency between consumers and producers in supply chains and how it can be applied.
