Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States for the general population as well as women specifically [1, 2]. Classical chest pain is described as exertional substernal chest pressure that radiates across the chest and is relieved with rest. This classical finding has been mostly associated with male presentations of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) but other populations, including female patients, are known to have a more diverse range of symptoms and presentations for ACS which has led to a delay in diagnosis and ultimately treatment [3]. This case serves as an example of the spectrum of presentation of ACS.
