This study is concerned with the question of how Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs) can help to enable sustainability and resilience in logistics and supply chains, due to the accelerating societal change and global uncertainties, this subject matter is critical to future-proofing logistics operations. The aim is to identify key EDTs that will significantly impact logistics over the coming years, making operations and supply chains more efficient, sustainable, and resilient. To this end, a literature review based on EBSCO and B-on database-based was conducted. The article does an analysis of social trends and their impact on logistics and supply chain, offering a list of the most relevant EDTs with the capacity to transform established processes in the coming years. It also identifies potential benefits and limitations of its implementation. Valuable insights to academics and practitioners to take advantage of EDTs are offered, resulting in potential increased efficiency, sustainability, and resilience in supply chains and logistics.
