Optimizing Warehouse Efficiency: A Structured Storage Framework Using ABC Analysis and Mathematical Modeling
摘要
This study investigates operational inefficiencies in the shipment warehouse of Visam Plastics A.Ş., including unstructured storage, frequent loading errors, and reliance on manual processes. These issues lead to delays, incorrect shipments, and inventory discrepancies, negatively impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. To address these challenges, this study employs analytical tools such as ABC analysis and Fishbone Diagrams to identify root causes and develop systematic solutions. The primary objective is to implement a structured addressing system to optimize warehouse operations, minimize errors, and improve workflow efficiency. While this research focuses on warehouse inefficiencies and the formulation of an addressing framework, future work will incorporate mathematical and simulation models to optimize transportation costs and warehouse utilization. The results of this study aim to establish a scalable and sustainable approach to warehouse management that enhances efficiency and accuracy at Visam Plastics.
