Macroeconomic Factors Influencing Exchange Rate Flexibility: Insights from the MENA Region
摘要
Emerging economies have increasingly shifted toward floating exchange rate policies, leading to substantial changes in their economic frameworks. This study examines how fluctuations in exchange rates interact with key macroeconomic variables in the MENA region, specifically focusing on Egypt, Tunisia, and Turkey. Using regression analysis, we explore the influence of factors like inflation, interest rates, trade balances, and foreign reserves on exchange rate behavior. This comprehensive analysis sheds light on the intricate dynamics of currency movements and their implications for economic stability and policymaking in these countries.
