Enhancing Chinese Character Learning for Vietnamese Students in Taiwan Using the Hanzi Tree App
摘要
This study explores the effectiveness of the “Hanzi Tree” (or Chinese Character’s Tree) app in addressing the challenges Vietnamese students face in learning Chinese characters. Through an empirical study involving first-year students at a University in Taiwan, we assess character recognition improvement and motivational shifts using the ARCS model. Results indicate that the app significantly enhances learning outcomes and student confidence. The study provides evidence-based recommendations for integrating digital tools into Chinese character instruction.
