Technology needs to be applied in education because as time goes by, many students are very familiar with technology in their daily lives. This research aims to analyze the application of technology as a learning medium in English language learning with a cooperative learning approach at SD Plus Latansa Demak, Indonesia. This research is pre-experimental research: one shot case study with data collection methods: interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The results of interviews and questionnaires show that teachers choose technology as a learning medium because it has several advantages, one of which is being able to increase student activity in class, while the results of observations and documentation show that teachers are successful in implementing cooperative learning assisted by video and image learning media because of the support from the school principal in the form of providing complete facilities and infrastructure. The conclusion obtained from this research is that technology-based learning media is able to increase student activity in the classroom in the teaching and learning process which also has an impact on increasing student learning outcomes.
