This study used multimedia videos and AI-generated images to design a two-year social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum for lower elementary school students. A total of 158 students participated in the program. The curriculum was closely aligned with the students’ life experiences and incorporated key SEL components, namely, self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. The AI-generated images were flexibly adapted based on students’ real-life situations and school-related events, offering personalized and relatable visual cues that deepened their understanding of SEL concepts. By discussing emotions and social interactions depicted in these images, students were guided to reflect on themselves and others, practice regulation strategies, and improve interpersonal relationships. The results indicate that the students exhibited better social adaptation the longer they participated in the program.
