There is a global focus on promoting entrepreneurship by almost all countries as it not only helps governments to tackle unemployment problems but contributes significantly to the nations’ economic size. Therefore, governments are taking a bundle of efforts to boost entrepreneurship including promoting innovation and startup cultures in their respective countries. India is also a front runner in these aspects and has introduced many such initiatives including Startup India and increasing expenditure on research & development and producing more patents. This paper is an empirical investigation of analysing impacts of startup ecosystem and innovation on entrepreneurship in the country.
