Assessing the Feasibility of Applying and Standardizing Digital Livestock Solutions in BRICS Countries
摘要
The subject of this research includes digital solutions available on the domestic market, as well as those accessible in foreign markets, particularly within the BRICS countries. Digital solutions encompass IoT sensors for collecting biological, technical, technological, and other data; algorithms for information processing; interfaces; and analytical software, which collectively enable the collection and processing of digital data for optimal management decision-making in livestock farming. The research aims to evaluate the feasibility of applying digital solutions in livestock farming and to develop approaches for substantiating standards for equipping various types of agricultural producers with digital solutions. The study examines the current state of the agricultural sector in BRICS countries and its role in ensuring food security, evaluates the digital technology and product penetration in agricultural enterprises, and proposes creating common standards for developing and employing digital solutions of varying complexity levels in livestock farming among member countries. To verify theoretical assumptions, multi-variant calculations of technical and economic indicators of digital solutions implementation are conducted using dairy farming as a case study.
