This recipe covers only a small part of the probabilistic tsunami hazard analysis workflow, namely the seismic induced earthquake-tsunami modelling. While most approaches in modelling earthquake-induced tsunami events use simplified source models, in this recipe, developed in a 6-year long project called Advanced Simulation of Coupled Earthquake Tsunami Events (ASCETE), a chain of complex earthquake cycle—earthquake rupture—tsunami models allow for realistic case studies of seismic tsunamis.
