The final chapter confirms the value of the mechanistic framework of collaborative learning during compounding crises, identifying key mechanisms that enable or hinder multi-actor knowledge creation, sharing, and diffusion in adaptive food security governance at the street level. While polycrises have accelerated efforts to institutionalize food security within social protection systems, this process remains uneven, shaped by the design of public-private-people partnerships and their ability to foster trust, expertise, and innovation. The chapter shows that despite progress in integrating food aid into multilevel welfare systems, full institutionalization is often blocked by centralization and siloed approaches to sustainability. It offers actionable recommendations, including the use of multilevel platforms, cross-sector collaboration, empowerment of local actors, and real-time monitoring of policy processes in polycrisis contexts.
