This chapters presents the solution of some standard calculation problems based on the simplified classical laminate theory. Each solution is based on a step-by-step approach in order to present all the details of the solution procedure. The presented problems comprise the calculation of stresses and strains in symmetric and asymmetric laminates, as well as the application of failure criteria, and the ply-by-ply failure of laminates.
