Women’s security is becoming a global concern as the frightening rise in violence against women and girls continues. Traditional safety precautions often prove inadequate, thus technology-driven alternatives are needed to guarantee the protection of women. This paper proposes an IoT-based women’s security device with GPS and GSM technologies to track the location and to establish communication capabilities. The proposed system is a wearable device integrated with GPS and GSM modules, a panic button for immediate alert, and a mobile application that connects to the cloud for processing the data and alert distribution. It aims to enhance women’s safety by enabling quick response, improving location accuracy, and ensuring continuous monitoring. Through direct integration with local emergency services and utilizing advanced techniques like geofencing and voice activation, this system offers a comprehensive solution to improve the safety and security of women in various environments.
