Green Finance: A Path Towards Greener Future and Sustainable Development in Indian Banks

The incorporation of green finance (GF) principles into sustainable development (SD) strategies has become a crucial approach to tackling urgent global issues in light of the growing environmental challenges. The study examines the intricate link between GF and SD, which also looks at how funding for environmentally friendly projects and activities advances more general developmental goals. This research offers a comprehensive literature review, case studies, and empirical data to clarify the opportunities, difficulties, and possible strategies for utilizing GF to hasten the transition to SD. The phrase “GF” was used to refer to SD consider both environmental and economic benefits. To enhance readers’ comprehension of these essential factors, this study attempts to illustrate their theoretical aspects while providing a general overview of their fields and applications. Suggestions for making the process of SD easier to accomplish are also made, taking into account the necessity of green funding. Improved theoretical understanding of this field provided by this work can inspire academics to carry out varied study from many viewpoints and approaches, or, to put it another way, to provide new avenues for investigation.
