Sustainable Investment for Renewable Energy in Indian Context
摘要
Renewable energy is abundance and meticulous use in India. Renewable resources are readily available and offer clean sustainable energy. Fossil fuels reserves are deteriorating the demand and energy is increasing drastically. In response to limited fossil fuel, the global community is focusing on renewable energy resources. Renewable energy sources generate 24% of global electricity, but their capacity to meet future demand is restricted. Since India is a fast-growing economy, it needs a larger energy supply than it currently consumes, for which renewable energy is a feasible option to meet the demand. India intends to produce 200 GW of renewable energy by 2030. The expansion of renewable energy has constraints. This book chapter discusses renewable development difficulties and offers solutions. The study measures the successes and challenges of India’s renewable energy development and suggests an investment strategy for continued expansion.
