The ideas of behavioral dimension of interaction and social relation have been among the core categories through which many contemporary debates visualize or speculate in institutional setting. So, this paper attempts to study behavior plays in interactions for the sake of good governance and prosperity of an organization. In the popular understanding, behavior science is a science which studies behavioral interactions of individuals and animals too but has limited appeal in wider social science. Since the methods used in behavior process are naturalistic observations, controlled scientific experimentation and mathematical modeling, it also involves rigorous formulations to reach any conclusion. That is why psychology, psychobiology, and cognitive science are integral parts of behavioral science. Furthermore, sociology and behavioral economics also play a significant role in understanding dynamics of the individual at all levels including economics and finance. The article discusses the various facets of behavioral science and its applicability to various streams of social science in India by analyzing different articles published in journals.
