This article assesses the use of the global innovation index and its components. The GII indicators are analyzed and the positions of the Russian Federation in its rating are determined. A comparative analysis and consideration of external factors determining innovation processes are presented, which allows countries not only to assess the current level of innovation activity, but also to forecast and formulate innovation policy based on actual data. Adequate innovation models are calculated that reflect key aspects of the innovation process and determine its main effects.

摘要
