This article is a short survey on Toeplitz subshifts and minimal equicontinuous systems, including characterizations of both systems and some of their dynamical properties. Additionally, we characterize infinite residually finite groups as those admitting Toeplitz subshifts and minimal equicontinuous Cantor systems with non-periodic points.

摘要

This article is a short survey on Toeplitz subshifts and minimal equicontinuous systems, including characterizations of both systems and some of their dynamical properties.
