Carbon emissions from human activities are an important influence on climate change. Carbon emissions resulting from human activities are a key influencing factor in climate change. In this review, we examine: a) literature related to individuals; and b) literature related to corporations. Individual influences factor focus on the following: personal norms, individual attitudes and perceptions, green commitment, green experience, social networks, green technology, cost, policy and education. The influences factor of corporations are centered on the following aspects: corporate financial performance, board diversity, corporate social responsibility, corporate technology, information technology, green finance, carbon prices, and policy environment. Through the analysis of the above, this paper proposes suggestions for improving carbon reduction behavior, mainly focusing on the following: 1) adopting the means of sharing data to improve the efficiency of public services; 2) adopting publicity and education, and knowledge sharing on carbon emissions; 3) adopting incentives to provide appropriate grants as well as subsidy policies; and 4) improving the carbon performance evaluation and supervision system.
