Given their interaction with the environment, companies are considered to be among the key players responsible for implementing sustainable development practices. To forge a sustainable competitive advantage, they should integrate the interests of their various stakeholders (contractual and diffuse) into their management methods. The aim of this article is to discuss the impact of Total Quality Management on the promotion of sustainable development within companies. In other words, the aim is to understand how this quality approach contributes to the success of companies’ commitment to sustainable development.
