Digital transformation (DT) has played a critical role in realizing the promise of environmental sustainability in recent years. This research performs a bibliometric review to evaluate the existing quo and future trends at the nexus of DT and ES. Our findings illustrate the evolution of DT and ES research throughout time, the most significant authors and nations in this subject, and the most prestigious publications and conferences where DT and ES researchers have published their work. In addition, we utilized Vosviewer to map keyword cooccurrence, which led to the discovery of numerous other noteworthy connections with other terms, including sustainability, digitalization, digital technology, industry 4.0, corporate sustainability, and green innovation.
