This study analyzes the significance and role of perceived immersion and enjoyment with virtual reality (VR) experiences in shaping the future behavioral intentions of tourists in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). A quantitative approach was used in the research, and a survey was conducted involving 250 respondents from BiH who have experienced VR content related to tourism purposes. The results of the study show a significant positive relationship between perceived immersion and enjoyment with VR technology in shaping user behavioral intentions and indicate that demographic factors (gender and age) do not have influence on the behavioral intention to use VR in tourism. The insights gained from this research have practical implications for tourism managers, businesses, destinations, and technology developers looking to leverage VR technologies to enhance the tourism offerings of destinations.
