Enhancing Accessibility and Inclusivity in Business Meetings Through AI-Driven Extended Reality Solutions
摘要
Teleconferencing is now a vital medium for professional interactions; however, many systems inadequately support the needs for deaf, hard-of-hearing, and multilingual participants. This study explores an innovative solution integrating AI-powered 3D avatars into Extended Reality (XR) environments to enhance accessibility and inclusivity in business meetings. Real-time speech-to-text transcription, multilingual translation, and sign language interpretation is utilised within the system to ensure communication and equal participation. Pre-existing components, such as gesture recognition and sentiment analysis, are combined with adaptive accessibility features to create a scalable and interoperable platform. Initial findings from the project demonstrate the potential of XR technologies to bridge communication gaps and redefine inclusivity in virtual collaboration.
